Choosing your wedding photographer is about so much more than beautiful images. It's choosing the people who will walk alongside you throughout one of the most meaningful days of your life. The ones who will quietly notice the in-between moments, keep your timeline running smoothly, calm your nerves when emotions run high, and preserve the memories you'll return to for decades.

We're Natalie and Cody, the husband-and-wife team behind Tallie Johnson Photography.

For more than a decade, we've had the privilege of documenting weddings throughout Colorado and destinations beyond. Along the way, we've learned that the most meaningful photographs are never forced. They're created through trust, genuine connection, and an experience that allows you to be completely present.

Long before your wedding day arrives, we're helping craft a thoughtful timeline, answering questions, sharing advice, and getting to know the two of you. By the time your celebration begins, we don't feel like strangers holding cameras. We feel like trusted friends who know exactly what matters most.

On your wedding day, our role is simple: to lead when guidance is needed, step back when moments deserve to unfold naturally, and preserve your story with intention and care. Every joyful laugh, quiet tear, heartfelt embrace, and fleeting glance matters because together they become the legacy of your day.

Our editing style is timeless, true to life, and designed to remain beautiful for generations. Rather than chasing trends, we create photographs that feel just as meaningful on your fiftieth anniversary as they do today.

    10-Year, Online Gallery

    We partner with PASS, a renowned photo sharing company, to provide you with a meticulously curated gallery that showcases all the images of your wedding day. With a minimum of 100 professionally edited images per hour of hire, our gallery is thoughtfully organized by the events that unfolded, allowing you to relive each moment with ease. This comprehensive collection is available to you and your loved ones with unlimited downloads and secure cloud storage for an extended period of 10 years. Feel free to explore our example galleries to get a glimpse of the captivating memories we capture and preserve for our cherished couples.

    Two Photographers with our Signature Collection

    Every Signature Wedding Experience includes two photographers because your wedding day deserves to be documented from every meaningful perspective.

    While one of us is capturing your walk down the aisle, the other is watching your partner's reaction. During family portraits, one photographer focuses on the formal moments while the other notices the quiet interactions happening just beyond the frame. Throughout the day, we're able to document more of your story naturally, thoughtfully, and without missing the moments you never knew were unfolding.

    As a husband-and-wife team, we've photographed weddings together for years. We know how to anticipate one another, work seamlessly side by side, and create an experience that feels calm, organized, and effortless for our couples.

    Should unforeseen circumstances ever prevent Cody from photographing alongside Natalie, a trusted second photographer from our carefully selected team will step in to ensure you receive the same exceptional coverage and experience you've come to expect from Tallie Johnson Photography.

    Printing & Social Rights

    Printing Rights: You will receive printing rights for the images included in your package. Printing rights grant you the personal and non-commercial use of the digital images, allowing you to make prints for your own enjoyment, share them with family and friends, and display them in your home or personal spaces. You have the freedom to print the photos directly through us or a printing service of your choice, ensuring that you can preserve and showcase your cherished memories as you desire.

    Social Media Rights: We understand (And encourage!) the importance of sharing your special moments on social media platforms. You will also receive social media rights for all images. This means you are permitted to share and post the photos on your personal social media accounts, such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, or any other platform, to celebrate and share your wedding joy with your online community. These images will be optimized for web and digital display, ensuring they look their best when shared online.

    Engagement Session

    Every Signature Wedding Experience includes a complimentary 90-minute engagement session because we believe your wedding day shouldn't be the first time we're behind the camera together.

    Your engagement session is an opportunity to slow down, explore a beautiful location, and simply enjoy this season of your lives. It's where you'll become comfortable in front of the camera, discover that you don't need to know how to pose, and experience our approach to creating natural, genuine images.

    By the time your wedding day arrives, you'll know exactly what to expect, allowing you to relax, trust the process, and focus on what matters most, celebrating together.

    If an engagement session isn't the right fit for you, we're happy to exchange it for an additional hour of wedding day coverage.

    Traveling

    Signature Wedding Experience

    Whether you're celebrating in Colorado or planning a destination wedding, we're happy to travel wherever your story takes you. Travel arrangements for weddings outside of Colorado are customized based on your location and will be discussed during the planning process, ensuring everything is coordinated well in advance.

    Colorado Elopement Experience

    Travel anywhere within Colorado is included with every Elopement Experience. There are no mileage fees or surprise travel costs, giving you the freedom to choose the Colorado location that best reflects your story, whether that's Rocky Mountain National Park, the San Juan Mountains, or somewhere uniquely meaningful to you.

    Other Taxes & Fees

How Do I Book?

Consultations. Budget. Retainers. Contracts…. (but we make it fun!)

  • We understand every wedding is unique and more than anything, we want people to have access to excellent photography of one the most memorable days of their lives. We offer personalized consultations to address any concerns and discuss your specific wedding day goals. By understanding your vision, we create customized timelines for optimal photography coverage for every budget.

    Our goal is a stress-free experience, capturing every moment beautifully. Whether you have a set budget or are unsure about coverage duration, our consultation ensures informed decisions for your special day.

    We also never book at consultations! We are not selling you a TV or a car, we understand that wedding photography is an investment into memories. After we meet, we hold your date for 5 days after our meeting, to allow you time to make a confident decision in whoever you hire.

    • 1st Payment -30% retainer fee with your contract

    • 2nd Payment- 30% due 60 days before your weddig

    • Final Payment- 40% due the day of your wedding

  • A contract is essential for clients hiring a wedding photographer, providing peace of mind by outlining services, deliverables, and payment terms clearly. It ensures that expectations are met and protects clients' rights, ensuring they receive the high-quality service and memorable photos they expect on their special day.

FAQs

  • Engagement sessions are a great way for you to get to know my shooting style and really help couples feel comfortable in front of the camera for their wedding day. So I highly encourage an engagement session. However, if you are out of state or have decided you really don’t desire one, you can trade engagement sessions for a discount of $400 off your wedding package.

  • All packages come with two photographers. This is so there is never a moment missed. My 2nd photographers are all professional photographers who either have their own photography business or have gone through extensive training before being hired. Having two photographers allows us to get more photos and more moments without having to take up lots of time at the wedding. We get the groom smiling as his bride walks down the aisle and the dad’s tears as he gives his daughter away. We want you to be well served.

  • Your printing rights are included in any package you receive with me. So you are free to print wherever as many times as you desire. We highly recommend ordering prints through our professional vendors, but it is not required at all. The difference In quality is huge when it comes to ordering through a professional lab, so we encourage clients to help with prints.

  • Short answer- no.

    Because consultations allow our team to help you stick with your budget, talk about your goals, get a big picture of your wedding day and what it would be like working with us- we highly suggest it. However, if you know, you know, so just let me know and I’m happy to skip the consultation and send you the proposal to book!
